Hello!
My name is Daisy May Nash, I'm an illustrator originally from the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and now based in Inverness, Scotland. A lot of my work is inspired by the stories, and culture of the Highlands and Islands. I love creating art that feels connected to a sense of place, through nature, folklore, or everyday moments.
I finished my degree in Visual Communication and Design at UHI in 2024, but I’ve been working on illustration projects since 2018. Along the way, I’ve taught myself tools and techniques, and I'm always looking for new ways to grow and experiment.
I’m especially passionate about children’s illustration, animal welfare, women’s rights, LGBT+ voices, fantasy, folklore, mental health, and making creative spaces more inclusive and sustainable.
I really enjoy working with others and bringing their ideas to life. I like to keep things open, friendly, and collaborative—making sure every illustration feels meaningful and true to the story it’s telling.
If you have a creative project, please don’t hesitate to contact me either via my contact page above or you can email me at dmnillustration@gmail.com if contact forms aren’t your thing!
